3 -  Rehoming / Success Stories / BLUE, Staffordshire Bull Terrier

Started by staff@somersetstaffies - Last post by staff@somersetstaffies on: 10 Apr 2010 - 18:09

Blue is a year old staffie puppy seeking a new home after being surrendered to Somerset Staffies as his previous owners felt they could no longer give him enough time and attention.

He is a lovely, happy little chap with good manners around the house, although he would benefit from further training as he has the puppy habit of 'mouthing'.

Blue is not good with cats, but is fine with other dogs and great with humans.

We feel he would be best suited to a home with older sensible, dog savvy children 10+, with or without other dogs.
Blue is fully vaccinated and neutered, and has been recently wormed and deflead.

5 -  Rehoming / Rehoming / CHINA, Staffie X Shar-pei

Started by staff@somersetstaffies - Last post by staff@somersetstaffies on: 10 Apr 2010 - 18:01

China is a 2 year old Staffie X Shar-pei.

She is a loving, gentle girl who is good with other dogs, cats and small furries. China has previously lived with small children and would be happy in their company.

She is a little shy at first, and tends to be a little wary of men, although she warms to them quickly when she understands they are not a threat to her.

China is housetrained, and has good manners around the house and with food. She would benefit from further training on the lead as she becomes very excited when meeting other dogs.

China is spayed, fully vaccinated and microchipped, she has also been recently wormed and deflead.

If you would like any further information about CHINA or any of the other dogs we have for rehoming please get in touch with Sam at Somerset Staffie Rescue. A homecheck and a donation to the rescue will apply.

6 -  Rehoming / Success Stories / KIZZY, Staffie X French Bulldog

Started by staff@somersetstaffies - Last post by staff@somersetstaffies on: 10 Apr 2010 - 17:39

Kizzy is a 16 month old Staffie X French Bulldog. She came into our care after having been dumped outside a local supermarket.

She has had 8 homes in her short life, and has been pushed from pillar to post as no one cared enough to keep her safe and warm.

Kizzy is a lively, bouncy girl who loves to play and who loves human company..she is fine with children 7+ and we feel she would benefit from being an only dog, due to the level of neglect she has experienced.

She needs love, stability and reassurance and kind, reward based training to help her become a balanced dog.

Kizzy does not like cats or small furries. She is housetrained and knows basic commands.
Kizzy is fully vaccinated and will be spayed before rehoming, she has been recently wormed and deflead.

If you would like any further information about KIZZY or any of the other dogs we have for rehoming please get in touch with Sam at Somerset Staffie Rescue. A homecheck and a donation to the rescue will apply.

Sadly Frankie has been returned to us  >:( His new owner was unable to offer him the forever home he had promised and Frankie finds himself looking for his 3rd home in his short life.

This dog is 9 months old. It breaks my heart to see him pushed from pillar to post and anyone wishing to adopt him must be aware of the fact that his adoption will be final!!

So, once again, meet Frankie.

Frankie is a 9 month old Staffie boy who is looking for a forever sofa to call his own.

He is a stocky, tiger brindle boy who loves his cuddles and fuss. He would be best suited to a forever home with experienced Staffie owners, a home with children 7+ but with no other pets as Frankie can be unpredictable with other dogs.

Although he knows basic commands, Frankie is a young dog who would benefit from further training and socialisation.

Frankie is fully vaccinated, neutered and microchipped.

To find out more about Frankie or any of the other dogs we have for adoption plase get in touch with Sam at Somerset Staffie Rescue.

Meet Mollie

Mollie is a 2 year old Staffie girl looking for her forever home. She loves her suggles with humans and with other dogs

She is a pretty, black brindle girl with a white chest who is good with other dogs, is well mannered on the lead, with food and in the house. Mollie came into the care of Somerset Staffie Rescue as her owners are no longer able to keep her due to having had a new baby.

Mollie's ideal forever home would be with experienced staffie owners who have plenty of cuddles and long walks to give her. She would happily share her forever sofa with another dog and would do well in the company of older, dog savvy kids (7+)

Mollie has been speyed and will be chipped and brought up to date with her vaccinations before being rehomed.

If you would like any further information about Mollie or any of the other dogs we have for rehoming please get in touch with Sam at Somerset Staffie Rescue. A homecheck and a donation to the rescue will apply.
